Integrations & Extension
The Duka browser extension lets you capture information into your workspace while you browse, instead of switching tabs to copy-paste it in manually.
Installing and connecting
- Install the extension from your browser's extension store.
- Open the extension's options page and set your workspace URL.
- Keep a Duka tab open and signed in — the extension authenticates using that active session, so it always uses a fresh login rather than storing a long-lived credential.
Saving a LinkedIn profile
While viewing a LinkedIn profile, open the extension popup and choose Save to Duka. It captures the visible profile details and creates a draft person record in your People directory — nothing is finalized automatically, so you can review and clean it up before treating it as a real record.
The extension auto-scrolls the page briefly before capturing, so it can pull in content that LinkedIn only loads once you scroll (like the full experience section).
Research flow
The extension can also help you figure out whether someone is already in your workspace:
- It checks the current page against your People directory for a likely existing match.
- You confirm whether it's the same person (or save as new).
- It generates research notes from the page content, attached to that person's record.
Permissions
The extension only requests access to the sites it needs to operate on (e.g. LinkedIn) and your configured workspace domain — you can review and adjust granted host permissions from your browser's extension settings at any time.
