Daily Workflow

Standups in Duka are a lightweight daily journal, not a task list replacement. They're meant for quick, reflective check-ins — the kind you'd type out for a team standup or a personal end-of-day recap.

Writing an entry

Each day gets its own entry with a few guiding prompts:

  • What did you work on / what's your update?
  • What did you finish (dones)?
  • What's blocking you?
  • What's your goal for the day (or how does today connect to your bigger goal)?

Just start typing under any prompt — entries autosave as you go, no explicit "save" step needed. Use Add Today if a day doesn't already have an entry.

Switching days

Use the day switcher to look back at previous entries or jump between days. Past entries are read/editable the same way as today's.

Visibility

Like other content in Duka, each standup entry can be marked private or shared with the workspace, so you can decide whether teammates see your daily reflections or just your own record.

Standing goal

Alongside daily entries, Duka keeps a standing goal — a longer-running objective that stays visible across every day's standup, so the daily prompts have something to connect back to. Edit it from the standup page; it's also stored in your Library.

Standups are about reflection and continuity, not scheduling. For anything with a deadline or duration, use Tasks instead.
