Getting Started

Duka is a single connected workspace that replaces the pile of separate apps most teams juggle — calendar, task manager, notes, meeting notes, a lightweight CRM, and an AI assistant — with one place that already knows about everything else.

That's the core idea: nothing lives in isolation. A task can be tagged the same way a note or a person is. A meeting can turn into follow-up tasks. Your calendar knows how much time you actually have left in the day before it lets you overbook yourself. The AI assistant (called Oracle) can see across all of it when you ask it a question, instead of being stuck in a single app's context.

The main areas

Every area below is reachable from the sidebar once you're signed in. This guide is organized the same way — one section per area.

  • Home — your daily dashboard: today's tasks and events, quick actions, a pin board for scratch notes.
  • Calendar — one timeline for your tasks and your real calendar events, with sane limits on how much you can pack into a day.
  • Tasks — create, schedule, and time tasks, including recurring ones.
  • Notes — free-form documents and spreadsheet-style sheets.
  • Meetings — every meeting, its notes, transcript, and follow-ups in one record.
  • People — a lightweight directory of people and companies you work with.
  • Tags — the thread that ties everything together across all the areas above.
  • Oracle — an AI assistant that can answer questions and act using your workspace's data.
  • Library — reusable content: your profile, templates, and workspace identity.
  • Standups — a daily journal for reflecting on progress and blockers.

Who Duka is for

Duka is built for founders, small teams, and anyone who wants their work tools connected instead of scattered across ten browser tabs. It's opinionated about one workspace per team — everyone in your workspace sees the same shared calendar, tasks, people, and notes (private items stay private to their author).
