Oracle AI Assistant

Oracle is Duka's built-in AI assistant. Unlike a generic chatbot, it can see across your workspace — tasks, notes, meetings, people, tags — so it can answer questions and take action using your actual data instead of requiring you to copy-paste context into it.

Opening Oracle

Click the Oracle icon in the sidebar, or press Cmd+K (Ctrl+K on Windows/Linux) from anywhere in the app.

Two modes

  • Oracle (workspace-aware) — has access to your workspace's data. Ask things like "What did we decide in my last meeting with Acme?" or "What tasks are tagged Q3 launch and still open?"
  • Plain chat — a general-purpose conversation mode without workspace context, for when you just want a quick answer unrelated to your data.

Switch modes from the Oracle sidebar; both keep a running conversation history per user and per workspace, and responses stream in as they're generated.

Scoped conversations from Tag Home

Opening Ask Oracle from a Tag Home page starts a conversation automatically focused on everything under that tag — you don't need to explain what you're asking about first.

Global search

The search bar (also reachable via Cmd+K) looks across notes, tasks, meetings, people, and more at once, matching both exact keywords and related concepts — so a search for "renewal" can surface a note that talks about "contract expiring" even without the exact word.

Oracle only ever answers using data your account already has access to. Private items stay private — Oracle doesn't reveal another person's private tasks or notes to you.
